Here’s the latest gossip as we launch into 2012: we are welcoming three new shows and reinventing a previous one!

The new shows include:

· “Southland’s Sixties Sensations” – Tuesdays from 12.30-2.30pm hosted by Peter Miller. Listen and enjoy a flash back to the sounds of the sixties along with Peter recounting tales of life in Southland during those halcyon years.

· “Michelle’s Country” – Wednesdays from 12.30-2.30pm hosted by Michelle Riseley. Enjoy traditional country sounds and chat with Michelle – no stranger to Southern radio audiences, but now a proud member of our stable of presenters.

· “The Great Southern Songbook” – Wednesday nights from 8-9pm (replayed Friday mornings from 9.30 and available as a podcast) with Graeme Wollers and Liv McBride. This musical duo (both solo artists in their own right) also performs as “The East” at venues around Southland. They are hosting their own radio show which is dedicated to Southland music! They're getting Southland tuned in to the original sounds that are pumping out of the Deep South. The show is aimed at musos and fans alike with live guest performances to boot. We will also soon welcome back Jared McCulloch with his new show: “Jared Tonight”. Jared joined us last year to produce Jared After Noon, but will move to Monday Nights at a time to be confirmed. His fun and energetic youth-oriented radio show will feature great music, giveaways, interactive nonsense and is guaranteed to make you smile.
